Adjunct Professor

• Computer Programming The Center for Data & Society at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA, invites applications for an Adjunct Professor to teach programming courses in Fall 2025. Two programming courses are currently available utilizing the Python language: Introduction to Computer Science
• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 AM to 12:15 PM Data Structures
• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM An on-campus presence is necessary; some flexibility in the course's time is available.

Opportunities for teaching in Spring 2026 (and subsequent semesters) are also available for additional subjects. Requirements Master's degree (or higher) in computer science or a closely related discipline. Previous college-level teaching experience is a plus. Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development. Strong problem-solving, writing, and oral communication skills. Documented experience with learning management systems. Preferably Canvas. Students take a variety of courses that introduce them to programming concepts, data structures, computer algorithms, computer architecture, networking, and cyber security.
