Job Description
To assist in the preparation of the CS department's youth program (e.g., summer camp) by aiding CS faculty members in developing/improving materials and facilitating the summer camps.
Career Readiness Competencies :
Leadership Professionalism Technology Facilitate camp activities, including supporting faculty in conducting in-person camp sessions. Assist in the development/improvement of camp materials. Examine CS-related topics, such as cybersecurity or artificial intelligence, as provided by supervisors. Work collaboratively with other student workers and faculty supervisors. Must have completed at least 30+ credit hours for their Computer Science/Software Engineering/Data Science degree. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be available for in-person camp events. Expected to work in a hybrid format, combining in-person and remote work, with the requirement to meet in-person as needed. Employees must follow the University's Flexible Work and Remote Work Policy ( https://www.bgsu.edu/student-employment-services/telecommuting-arrangement.html ). A background in cybersecurity and software development (e.g., web/mobile app dev.) is a preferred qualification, though it is not mandatory.

8:30 AM - 4 PM. Candidates must be available for all sessions to be considered.
