Description:
The Information Technology (IT) Program in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) invites applications for a full-time lecturer position. The starting date is anticipated to be August 2026. Applications submitted before June 10, 2026 will be given full consideration.
Duties:
Develop and teach undergraduate IT courses Student advising Provide service to the program, university and profession
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Information Technology or another closely related field by the time the position starts; all areas of emphasis will be considered Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching
Preferred:
Demonstrated background and interests in teaching cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networking or related subjects Required Attachments by
Candidate:
1) Curriculum Vitae, 2) a Letter of Application that addresses the required and preferred qualifications, and highlights teaching philosophy and experience, 3) unofficial graduate transcripts, 4) copies of educator certifications, and 5) three letters of reference
