Engineering Adjunct - WVU Tech (Beckley)

West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses located in Beckley, WV, is currently inviting applications and nominations for the following employment opportunity: The Leonard C. Nelson School of Engineering seeks to hire multiple adjunct faculty members potentially for the Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering and Computer Science, Information Systems and Construction Management Programs. Salary is established on a per-course basis. All positions are part-time and not benefits-eligible. Review of applications occurs on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mainly in-person classes and labs and (potentially some online courses) for the undergraduate programs in the Leonard C. Qualifications :

Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in the program's field or a related field Minimum of 8 years full-time professional work and/or teaching experience in the program's field is required. A Ph.D. in the closely related field is preferred. Commitment to teaching excellence, responsiveness to student needs, and good communication skills are essential.
