Certified Police Officer Required Work Experience:

Minimum of five years of police experience in the United States. Minimum of two years as a driving instructor at a police academy or an in-service training class.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

Must have completed a recognized Police Precision Instructor Driving Program. Must have a valid United States Driver's License.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist with the precision driving course as instructed by the Criminal Justice Faculty. Will assist with training maneuvers for Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Academy Students.

Operates a university or personal vehicle safely while carrying out job responsibilities. Will authorize, pursuant to university policies and procedures, a driving record check, and will meet the driving authorization requirements through the course of employment in a position where you are authorized to drive a vehicle as part of our duties. Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
