Job Description

Lincoln University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor position in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice for the Fall 2026 semester. This is an in-person teaching position on Lincoln University's main campus in Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will teach one or more in-person undergraduate Criminal Justice courses, including: Crime Scene Investigation (Forensic Science) Criminal Investigation Responsibilities Teach assigned undergraduate Criminal Justice courses. Prepare and deliver course content consistent with departmental learning outcomes. Assess student learning and maintain accurate records of student performance. Hold appropriate office hours and communicate effectively with students. Submit grades and course-related materials in accordance with university policies. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Forensic Science, Public Administration, Sociology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in criminal investigations, forensic science, crime scene investigation, law enforcement, or a related area. Preferred Qualifications College-level teaching experience. Professional experience in law enforcement, criminal investigations, forensic science, crime scene processing, corrections, or related criminal justice fields. Experience working with diverse student populations.
