Job Description
Jonesboro Public Schools is accepting applications for a Literacy Instructional Facilitator. Applicants must hold a valid Arkansas teaching license for grades K-6, P-4, 1-6, or related certification areas and possess a Master's Degree. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience and demonstrate the ability to present, coordinate, and facilitate ongoing, job-embedded professional learning for teachers.
The Literacy Instructional Facilitator will support teachers in strengthening core instruction through the implementation of high-quality instructional materials, evidence-based literacy practices, curriculum alignment, and effective assessment strategies. Responsibilities include modeling lessons, co-teaching, facilitating collaborative planning, analyzing student data with teachers, and supporting instructional decision-making that is responsive and prescriptive to student needs. The facilitator will work closely with teachers and administrators to monitor student progress, identify instructional next steps, and provide timely, actionable feedback following classroom observations and instructional support visits.
