Family Engagement/Instructional Support Specialist Pre-K 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Texarkana, AR 71854 $65,000 a year - Full-time Texarkana School District 3 reviews $65,000 a year - Full-time The Texarkana Arkansas School District is accepting applications for Family Engagement/Instructional Support Specialist at College Hill Pre-K. This position requires a 220 Day Contract. The Family Engagement/Instructional Specialist serves as a critical link betweeen schools, families, and the community while also supporting high-quality instruction in Pre-K classrooms. This position is responsible for strengthening family partnerships, increasing student readiness and success, and assisting teachers with instructional practices aligned to early childhood standards. This role suports compliance with Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) Program requirements, including family engagement, student support, and school readiness initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field Experience working with young children and families Knowledge of Arkansas Better Chance Program requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices Understanding of family engagement strategies and cultural responsiveness Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build relationships with diverse families and staff Ability to support instruction and classroom management Organizational and documentation skills Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Experience:
Knowledge of Arkansas Better Chance Program Requirements Experience working with young children and families The Board may find appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the above qualifications.
