Your role will include concepting, prototyping, presenting, and debating ideas and solutions across groups of designers, instructional designers, engineers, and product teams. Key Responsibilities Design user interfaces for educational and onboarding experiences across Apple platforms Create intuitive feature discovery flows that help users find and understand new capabilities Develop interactive tutorials, guided tours, and contextual help systems Design clear, engaging instructional content that makes features accessible and approachable Collaborate with product teams to integrate educational moments seamlessly into user workflows Create design systems and patterns specifically for instructional and educational content Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in digital product design, educational technology, UX/UI design High level of curiosity for technology amplified by your design craft and passion for user education Innovative vision for user education experiences leveraging user interface principles, progressive disclosure, and learning design Commitment to designing inclusive and accessible learning experiences Experience working with content strategy and instructional design teams Understanding of user research methodologies, particularly around learning and feature adoption Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, Apple products, and how users interact with multiple connected devices We value diverse perspectives and welcome candidates from all backgrounds Minimum Qualifications Portfolio demonstrating design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills, particularly in UI/UX Design Strong visual design skills with expertise in typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy Track record of project leadership, creative thinking, and cross-functional collaboration in support of user comprehension and feature adoption Open and collaborative communication skills capable of working in a multi-disciplinary design team Proficiency with design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Principle, Figma, or similar) Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
