SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience as a Supervisory Educion Services Specialist delivering expert experience in educion theories, principles, procedures, and practices of secondary, adult, and continuing educion as well as an understanding of guidance counseling methods/techniques to develop an accredited program.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Two (2) years of higher educion academic advising and university partnership management experience desired. Two (2) years of experience administering Department of Defense (DoD) voluntary educion (VoIED) programs desired. Two (2) years of experience managing multi-appropriion training budgets and educional service contracts desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSA's): 1. Professional knowledge of educion theories, principles, procedures, and practices of secondary, adult, and continuing educion as well as an understanding of guidance counseling methods/techniques to develop an accredited program. 2. Knowledge of civilian/military programs, objectives, policies, procedures, and/or requirements in parallel business and industry organizions to administer comprehensive training programs/services. 3. Knowledge of budget regulions and procedures to administer civilian training funds and forecast and oversee resource requirements for facilities, office/classroom space, equipment, and supplies including service contracts. 4. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulions, practices, and procedures. 5. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operions of one or more organizional segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 6. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motive, and appraise the staff of an organizion through subordine supervisors.
