Job Description:
Position Summary FlareFlow operates in the fast-growing vertical short drama (microdrama) space, producing mobile-first serialized content for global audiences. The Content Development Intern will support FlareFlow's Content Innovation and Audience Expansion efforts by helping evaluate new content opportunities, track project pipelines, and support creative partnerships across the entertainment ecosystem. Working closely with the Head of Content Strategy, this role offers hands-on exposure to content development, creative evaluation, IP sourcing, creative partnerships, and emerging trends in the vertical drama industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, highly organized, curious about the entertainment industry, and eager to develop creative and strategic skills within a fast-growing content business. Key Responsibilities Content Evaluation & Development Support Review incoming scripts, pitch decks, treatments, and project submissions. Prepare coverage, summaries, and recommendation reports. Identify promising concepts, talent, and partnership opportunities for leadership review. Support content research and creative development initiatives across both traditional and innovation slates. Project & Pipeline Tracking Maintain visibility across active development projects and content initiatives. Support tracking of key milestones, creative deliverables, and development priorities. Help organize development materials, pitch decks, script drafts, and project documentation. Assist with preparing internal updates and presentations for leadership discussions. Creative Partnership Support Support outreach and relationship management with producers, writers, creators, talent representatives, studios, and other creative partners. Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with external partners. Help prepare briefing materials and meeting notes for partnership discussions. Track potential development, co-production, and talent partnership opportunities. Strategic Initiatives Support special projects related to Content Innovation, Audience Expansion, and other related emerging business opportunities. Assist in developing materials that support long-term content strategy and partnership development. Preferred Qualifications Strong interest in entertainment, storytelling, media, and content development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to synthesize information and communicate key takeaways clearly. Experience evaluating creative materials (scripts, books, podcasts, creator content, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with vertical dramas, streaming, digital media, or creator ecosystems is preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
