DEFINITION
Provide assistance to special education staff in diagnostic, evaluative, instructional, curricular and behavioral planning for special education programs throughout the school district. QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years successful teaching experience
- Knowledge of current laws and educational trends pertaining to individuals with disabilities
- Possession of an Education Specialist Instruction Credential
- Demonstration of leadership ability, experience with conducting in-services, and other similar experiences
- Possession of a Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in the area of special education preferable
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with parents, professionals, and paraprofessional personnel and possess a valid California motor vehicle operator's license
- Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable
