  • Part-time Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Tutors specializing in K-12 education, SAT, and ACT preparation to inspire and empower students on their academic journeys.
In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and help students achieve their highest potential. Your passion for education, combined with your expertise in teaching diverse learners, will make a meaningful impact on students' academic success and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to student growth while honing your instructional skills. Duties Design and deliver dynamic tutoring sessions tailored to K-12 students as well as SAT and ACT exam preparation. Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs. Utilize innovative learning technology to enhance engagement and understanding during lessons. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a respectful and motivating learning environment. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators to coordinate student support strategies. Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for development. Skills Strong knowledge of math, reading, writing, science, or other core subjects relevant to K-12 education. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching in classroom settings or one-on-one environments. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly. Proficiency with learning technology tools used for virtual or in-person instruction. Skilled in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learning styles. Experience working with special education students or those requiring additional support is a plus. Effective classroom management abilities to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Strong writing skills for creating instructional materials and progress reports. Ability to work well with students of varying ages, backgrounds, and academic levels.
