Job Description

SierTeK is seeking an experienced Curriculum Developer to support the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing training requirements, developing and updating curriculum, and supporting instructional design efforts for Special Tactics training programs. This position works closely with subject matter experts, instructors, and government personnel to ensure training materials effectively support mission readiness and operational objectives.
Responsibilities:
Analyze training requirements and develop curriculum solutions that support Special Tactics training objectives. Design, develop, revise, and maintain Programs of Instruction (POI), lesson plans, student guides, instructor guides, and supporting training materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical and operational requirements into effective training products. Conduct curriculum reviews and updates to ensure training content remains current, accurate, and relevant. Apply instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to develop effective learning experiences. Support curriculum modernization initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts. Ensure training materials comply with applicable standards, policies, and instructional design methodologies. Participate in curriculum validation, evaluation, and quality assurance activities. Maintain curriculum documentation and configuration control of training products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active Secret Security Clearance. Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Educational Design or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting the Department of Defense in Instructional Design and/or Curriculum Development. Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials for adult learners. Knowledge of instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies and curriculum development processes. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting military training organizations, Special Operations Forces (SOF), or Air Force training programs. Familiarity with the ADDIE model and other instructional design frameworks. Experience conducting job task analysis, training needs assessments, and curriculum evaluations. Experience developing both instructor-led and technology-enabled learning solutions. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and curriculum management processes. This job posting is to identify potential candidates for positions in order to respond to a request for proposal.
