Job Summary CBT Technology Institute is seeking a Lead Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction while supporting faculty and academic operations. This role combines classroom teaching with mentorship responsibilities, ensuring instructional excellence, curriculum integrity, and student success. The Lead Instructor serves as a key resource for faculty development, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum and learning outcomes Maintain lesson plans, grading, attendance, and student progress tracking Provide student advising, tutoring, and support to improve retention and completion Mentor and support faculty on instructional best practices and classroom management Assist with onboarding and training of new instructors Conduct LMS (Canvas) quality reviews and ensure course readiness Support curriculum updates and maintain compliance documentation Ensure safe, organized, and instruction-ready lab and classroom environments Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of industry experience and 3 years of teaching experience Prior mentoring or supervisory experience preferred Relevant industry certifications required Experience with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (Canvas preferred) Strong instructional, coaching, and communication skills Work Environment This position operates in classroom, lab, and office settings and requires flexibility to support both instructional and leadership responsibilities.
