Your role
As an Education Coordinator at Child Development Schools, you will serve as a coach, resource, and advocate for the educators across your assigned centers. Your work directly shapes the quality of education that over 30,000 children receive every day. You will spend your time in classrooms -- observing, coaching, and collaborating with teachers to strengthen their practice and improve outcomes for children and families. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable delivering feedback to a new teacher and presenting to a leadership team -- someone who is passionate about early childhood education and motivated by the growth and development of the people around them. What you will do Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and continuously improve the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans across all age groups
Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing specific feedback with teachers and administration to recognize best practices and identify areas for growth
Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools including ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS, and provide actionable recommendations to improve program quality
Provide constructive, ongoing coaching and support to teachers, fostering continuous improvement in classroom practices
Support positive staff-child interactions and promote a nurturing, inclusive environment across all assigned centers
Assist with new employee training and mentorship, ensuring staff have the skills, knowledge, and access to resources needed to succeed
Support teacher and family retention by equipping educators with the tools and confidence to deliver quality experiences
Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or review recordings to stay current on company goals, educational requirements, and best practices
Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers that contributes to center morale and community engagement Pay and benefits
Pay:
$14- $16 based on experience and education. Full-time employees receive:

Requirements
Experience and education: 1 to 3 years of experience in early childhood education
High school diploma or GED required; degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of classroom arrangement, age-appropriate practices, and child development across all age groups
Experience in lesson planning and activity development
Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and coach adult learners across diverse learning styles
Familiarity with HighReach Learning curriculum preferred -- training available for the right candidate
Knowledge of or willingness to learn classroom assessment tools including ITERS, ECERS, and SACERS
Excellent communication, active listening, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage time effectively
Positive, creative, and collaborative mindset Physical demands: Regular sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
Ability to engage in physical activities at a child's level including stooping, bending, and running
Lifting up to 35 lbs
Moderate vision, hearing, and speaking requirements for classroom environments About Child Development Schools
