Educational Curriculum Developer

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Educational Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and refine engaging learning experiences for Rayan Academy. In this role, you will leverage expertise in instructional design models (such as ADDIE) and learning technology to create effective curricula that meet diverse learner needs in a bilingual setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape educational programs that empower educators and provide high-quality early childhood outcomes in the State of Iowa.

Key Duties Systematic Design:

Design and develop comprehensive curricula aligned with Iowa Early Learning Standards using instructional design models such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).

Multicultural Integration:

Integrate specialized bilingual (English/Arabic) and multicultural learning frameworks into core academic modules.

Technology & LMS:

Create and manage digital learning content utilizing LMS (Learning Management Systems) and digital authoring tools to ensure compatibility across educational platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and the Executive Director to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into classroom instruction.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Develop interactive learning modules and assessments; conduct usability testing and evaluations to refine instructional materials for clarity and effectiveness.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements Degree:

Bachelor's Degree in Education.

Licensure:

Must hold a valid State of Iowa Teaching License .

Instructional Expertise:

Strong knowledge of the ADDIE model and systematic instructional design.

Language/Tech:

Excellent writing skills with the ability to develop engaging content through multimedia integration. Highly Preferred Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction or current enrollment in a Graduate Curriculum Design program. Experience with SCORM-compliant content and adult education for staff training.

Pay:

$61,556.77 - $72,000.00 per year
