SCOPE OF WORK
The Instructional Designer develops learning experiences and materials that lead to transfer and application of new skills and knowledge. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, presenting, and assessing learning opportunities and programming for all Gaylor employees.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Uses Gaylor Core Values as tools to carry out all job responsibilities Inspires innovation and transparency to promote Gaylor Core Values Be a student of the company Works with Education Team and subject matter experts to provide and facilitate the planning and administration of educational projects and tasks as designated by leadership groups Pursues ongoing educational opportunities for personal and professional growth Fosters an intentionally collaborative environment across teams and workplaces Participates in Gaylor sponsored and community events Strong administrative, organization, and communication skills Organizes and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines Organizes and maintains schedules, agendas, and travel arrangements Maintains confidentiality of all information Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation Must be computer literate and able to process documents in Microsoft Suite in addition to quickly learning Gaylor's operating softwareRESPONSIBILITIES
Design and revamp both new and established learning materials Identify the appropriate learning approach Maintain industry standards and research innovations in learning design and education Implement feedback from program reviews and course evaluations Evaluate new learning materials Train others on how to deliver learning material Assist with maintenance of the learning management system Train all employees on how to use the learning management system Become a subject matter expert on various operating software, as needed, in order to facilitate training to all employees Create educational podcasts, videos, presentations, and e-learning content Prepare and present learning materials to target audience(s), in person and virtuallyEDUCATION
Bachelors' degree or equivalent professional experienceEXPERIENCE
