190 and up 10 additional days as directed The Alternative Education and Secondary Education Coordinator provides instructional, operational, and collaborative leadership across district alternative education and self-contained special education programs including Essential Skills programs. This position supports students with significant academic, social, and behavioral needs through oversight of an off-site K-12 alternative education program while also coordinating and strengthening self-contained special education services across multiple schools. The role requires a strong instructional leader with expertise in special education, behavior support, and staff collaboration to ensure safe, structured, and supportive learning environments. The coordinator works closely with directors, school teams, staff, and families to promote consistency, high-quality instruction, and positive student outcomes district-wide.
