10E Posting closes at midnight on 6/3/2026 The Learning Technology & Automation Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Power Platform solutions that enable, automate, and modernize training and learning operations. This role primarily focuses on building and maintaining Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and related low‑code solutions, while applying a strong foundation in design, user experience, and brand standards to ensure all solutions are clear, consistent, and adoption ready. The position applies expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, along with practical knowledge of AI-enabled tools, VR, and emerging technologies, to create scalable learning systems that adhere to UPS brand standards and support future‑ready training initiatives. The role partners closely with instructional designers, training leaders, IT, and operational stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective, well-designed technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Power Platform Development & Automation Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps that support learning and training workflows, including intake, tracking, approvals, dashboards, and reporting. Build and manage Power Automate workflows to streamline learning operations, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency and visibility. Apply solution design best practices to ensure applications are secure, scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with enterprise governance standards. Continuously enhance applications and automations based on process changes, stakeholder feedback, and operational needs. Serve as a subject matter expert for Power Platform usage within the learning and training environment. Design, User Experience & Brand Standards Apply strong graphic design and UX principles to ensure clarity, usability, and adoption across all applications, dashboards, templates, and internal tools. Ensure all designs, interfaces, and visual elements adhere to UPS brand standards, visual identity guidelines, and communication best practices. Leverage expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud as a foundational skillset supporting layout, visual hierarchy, interface consistency, accessibility, and brand compliance. Maintain and monitor consistent application of brand standards across learning tools, workflows, dashboards, and digital experiences. Partner with brand, communications, or governance teams as needed to ensure alignment with current and evolving brand requirements. AI, VR & Emerging Technology Enablement Apply working knowledge of AI-enabled tools to enhance learning content development, automation, and internal efficiency while maintaining brand consistency and design quality. Evaluate, pilot, and support AI technologies where they provide practical, measurable value to learning and training processes. Maintain awareness of VR and immersive learning technologies and collaborate with learning teams when applied to training use cases. Assess emerging technologies for alignment with learning needs, usability standards, and brand requirements. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support Partner with instructional designers, training managers, SMEs, IT, and operational leaders to translate learning requirements into effective, well-designed technology solutions. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding system functionality, design intent, and brand expectations. Support adoption of new tools and workflows through intuitive design, documentation, and ongoing refinement. Operations & Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies in learning and training processes and recommend automation or system-based improvements. Maintain documentation, standards, and lifecycle ownership for developed applications and workflows. Monitor solution usage, feedback, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement. Stay current on Power Platform capabilities, design best practices, UPS brand standards, and applicable learning technologies. Qualifications Experience designing and building business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate., Power Apps, etc.) Strong foundation in graphic design, visual communication, or UX, with hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.) Demonstrated ability to apply and maintain UPS brand standards across digital tools, interfaces, and learning assets. Working knowledge of AI tools and their application to learning content development, automation, or process improvement. Understanding of AI or immersive technologies, particularly as applied to training or learning environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and maintaining quality, usability, and brand standards. Preferred Skills Experience supporting learning, training, or instructional design teams. Familiarity with learning technologies, content workflows, or governance models. FAA knowledge or experience within FAA Part 121 airline environments. Experience supporting large-scale implementation or digital transformation initiatives. Video production or advanced multimedia design experience. Experience working with data analytics, dashboards, and training performance metrics.
