February 12, 2025 SUMMARY Perform budget coordination and review. Performs ECE Network duties as instructed by the Early Childhood Accountability Specialist as it relates to ECE Network Lead Agency activities, and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prepare, maintain, and monitor identified budgets. Analyze records to provide budget and carryover projections. Prepare reports for meetings when needed. Assist with loading budgets into local and state systems. Assist in verifying budget account numbers have been set up and are available. Assist in reviewing budgets to ensure items budgeted are allowable and budgeted in the correct category. Attends and assists with meetings and training events related to identified budgets. Attend district, state, and national conferences and workshops to gain knowledge of state and federal guidelines. Ensure funds are being spent in a timely manner. Compile reports for administrators and supervisors. Process invoices with correct account codes and obtain approvals. Perform office/administrative duties as instructed. Provide technical support to sites as needed. Provide information for auditors (local, state, and federal) and answer questions as needed. Prepare planning and report templates for ECE sites in the Network. Assist with verifying staff members are paid from appropriate funding sources. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree; at least five years job-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies or other employees. Ability to write business communication and complex reports. Ability to effectively present information to middle management, and/or other employees.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
