Job Description

Job Summary Beat the Streets Baltimore is hiring an EdTech Research & AI Curriculum Lead to facilitate a five-week applied AI project at Digital Harbor High School with high school students and young adult participants. This is not a traditional teaching role. You are running a structured knowledge-work curriculum where students use large language models — Claude and ChatGPT — as professional research tools to complete a real project with a real deliverable. The work is rigorous, the stakes are real, and the students know it. Core Responsibilities Deliver daily 60-minute AI/research lab sessions to two groups of participants Teach and coach prompt engineering: extraction, formatting, and verification techniques Facilitate a structured five-week project-based curriculum with weekly deliverables Quality-review student database submissions in real time and correct errors on the spot Coordinate young adult co-facilitators during lab sessions Prepare students for a public showcase presentation on July 30 Log session notes in Airtable and report weekly to the Executive Director Qualifications Demonstrated fluency with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar large language models Background in education technology, curriculum development, data research, or a related field Experience facilitating project-based learning with high school or young adult participants Comfort with Airtable or similar database tools Strong facilitation skills — able to hold a group accountable through a multi-week build Graduate students and recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply Schedule & Compensation Monday-Thursday
