Spring 2026 Holly Area Schools is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as an Interventionist . The Board of Education will offer the successful candidate an annual salary per the HEA Master Collective Bargaining Agreement commensurate with skills/experience. The successful candidate will receive a complete and competitive benefit package. The Community Holly Township is nestled in the northern and western most corner of Oakland County and is filled with natural beauty, wildlife, and serenity. The District Holly Area Schools serves approximately 3,100 students in Northwest Oakland County. The district has four elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a virtual school program. Holly Area Schools also offers a superior variety of early childhood education programs, STEM in all elementary schools and middle school, "Leader in Me" program, award-winning fine arts programs, expanded dual enrollment opportunities, cutting-edge technology in all classrooms, and skilled trades programs that prepare kids for jobs of the future. The district is composed of over 200 certified teachers with the vast majority boasting a Master's Degree or above. The Holly Area Schools community approved a $97,000,000 bond in 2022 that is funding new and enhanced learning environments, districtwide building and site improvements, as well as safety upgrades. Some of the exciting improvements include: A new Holly Middle School spanning 155,000 square feet designed to create a 21st-century learning environment with flexible, innovative, and collaborative spaces that not only enhances academic achievement but also prioritizes the wellness of both students and staff. Enhanced learning environments, including fine arts Auditorium, new Stadium & Track, Tennis Courts, Instructional Technology, and a state of the art Construction Trades center at the high school. Replacement of playground structures, fire protection upgrades, and safety upgrades.

The Position The qualified candidate will support student growth through the use of research based, highly effective instructional practices which promote interactive learning and student engagement. The teacher will meet the needs of each student by building trusted and caring relationships; understanding and implementing best practices; creating and utilizing systems of intervention and support, differentiated instruction, and a variety of instructional strategies. The candidate must be adept with technology and ready to consider emergent techniques to enhance student achievement. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education Master's Degree in Teaching & Learning, preferred Valid Michigan Teacher Certification in Elementary Education Endorsements of BT, BA, BX, and/or

Training Certification of Completion Orton-Gillingham Trained, preferred Successful teaching experience of at least five years Knowledge of effective instructional strategies Understanding data of targeted instruction to improve student achievement Strong communication and personal skills Professional commitment to high expectations Roles & Responsibilities Conduct student assessments to identify students for intervention. Provide direct instruction with students identified for interventions. Utilize a variety of research based instructional strategies. Assist teachers with instructional strategies and assessments. Analyze and interpret data to inform practice. Use data to inform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual plans for intervention. Collaborate with classroom teachers to monitor student progress. Participates and informs Building MTSS Teams with individualized student data. Communicate with parents/guardians. Maintain clear and accurate records. Collaborate with District and building staff. Provide instructional support and training with staff. Other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Building Principal.
