Job Description

The American Institute of Nondestructive Testing is seeking an individual for an NDT Instructor position. Do you meet the requirements of
ANSI/ASNT CP-189
as an NDT Instructor or hold multiple level II certifications and are ready to start your journey towards attaining your ASNT Level III Certifications while working as an assistant instructor with our ASNT Certified instructors? We are looking for a person who has a passion for teaching and wants to join a growing company with advancement opportunities.
Essential Functions:
Assists orTeaches one or more of the assigned classes that are part of the NDT program. Assist in curriculum development. Compile and maintain student grade and attendance records as well as other required department paper work. I.e. advisory reports, daily attendance records and end of class grade records. Follow and maintain daily lesson plans and course Study Guides and ensure their compliance with the current approved course syllabus. Comply with established company policies and procedures. Administer and grade lab projects and theory exams required for the course of instruction assigned. Maintain lab equipment. Maintain classroom training aids. Ensure student compliance with all established student policies and procedures. Provide student remediation as needed and within normal workday. Assist in student retention. Compile and maintain records of attendance Perform other incidental duties as may be required. The candidate must meet the requirements for being an NDT Level II or ASNT Level III NDT instructor as stated in
ANSI/ASNT
CP-189 or hold multiple Level II certifications for some or all of the following methods: RT, UT, MT, PT, VT and ET and be ready to start the process of attaining ASNT Level III certification. Extensive Eddy Current, Film interpretation, or PAUT experience is a plus.. Travel to client locations to provide training required. (Approximately 30% or more) International travel my be required at times. Computer Skills Knowledge of operating a computer with ability to edit and create documents using Microsoft office suite.
