The Literacy Instructional Leader works within Teaching and Learning to support teachers and school leaders in strengthening literacy instruction across the district. This role supports the implementation of research-based practices, leads ongoing Science of Reading professional learning, and helps ensure READ Act requirements are met. Through collaboration and thoughtful use of data, this position supports strong classroom instruction and effective interventions within the MTSS framework, with the d goal of improving learning experiences and outcomes for all students.Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).Elementary Education teaching licensureExperience Requirements:
Certified Science of Reading trainer with experience planning and leading the professional development.Background and experience supporting effective tier 1-3 literacy instruction.
Experience analyzing and using literacy data to drive instructional decisions.
