Instructional Improvement Specialist (K-5)
Various Locations Starts:
August 2026 (2026-2027 School Year) BEA Salary Schedule Year-Round Insurance, 12 Discretionary Days a Year, Work 178 Days a Year, TRS Retirement Requires a current Montana Educator License with an endorsement in Elementary.
Qualifications:
1. Valid Montana Teaching Certificate 2. Bachelor's degree in Education 3. Successful teaching experience Performance Responsibilities (may include but not limited to the following) 1. Evidence of knowledge of research-based math and reading best practices 2. Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and building administrator to coordinate both classroom instruction and invention 3. Utilize student data to inform instructional decisions and track the effectiveness of interventions 4. Work with school leadership to establish data-driven goals and assess progress towards academic benchmarks. 5. Analyze assessment results to identify trends and implement strategies for continuous improvement. 6. Working knowledge of Multi-tiered Systems of Support Model and progress monitoring cycle 7. Working knowledge of the scope and sequence of K-5 reading and math with a focus on the critical areas and concepts 8. Communicate and document students' progress to parents and school staff 9. Participates in grade level Professional Learning Community Meetings at all grade levels 10. Collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional strategies, curriculum implementation, and assessment practices. 11. Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching effectiveness. 12. Design and deliver professional development sessions based on identified needs and best practices. additional training may be required
