Description The University of Montana invites applications for a Clearinghouse Ambassador for Montana Digital Academy (MTDA) . This position provides consultation, training, and ongoing support to K-12 educators, administrators, and staff across the state. The role designs and delivers professional development, develops training resources, and leads stakeholder communications. As a subject matter expert in MTDA Clearinghouse services, including blended learning, proficiency-based learning (PBL), web-based learning (WBL), and career and technical education (CTE), the Clearinghouse Ambassador delivers high-quality service and support to stakeholders. This position plays a key role in advancing MTDA's mission by promoting educator engagement and supporting student success through effective delivery of information, resources, and training. Examples of Duties and Responsibilities Provide consultation and ongoing support to K-12 educators, administrators, and staff on instructional use of MTDA digital platforms and resources. Conduct in-person and virtual school visits across Montana, including regular office hours, coaching, and troubleshooting support. Monitor educator engagement, perform check-ins, and support effective implementation of digital learning tools. Design and deliver trainings, workshops, webinars, and conference presentations on blended, proficiency-based, web-based, and CTE learning. Develop training materials, curriculum, and user documentation, including guides for digital platforms and course implementation. Collaborate with school districts, state agencies, and partners to create and improve learning resources and training programs. Create and manage communications, including weekly updates, social media content, and stakeholder engagement materials. Support administrative operations, including travel coordination, record-keeping, help desk ticket management, and reporting insights to leadership. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Two (2) years of experience in K-12 education or school-based environments. Two (2) years of experience using Learning Management Systems. Two (2) years of experience using Student Information Systems. Two (2) years of experience in web-based or online instructional design. One (1) year of experience in consultation, coaching, or stakeholder advising. Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire) and willingness to travel. Strong knowledge of blended learning, proficiency-based learning, web-based learning, and/or career and technical education. Demonstrated skills in instructional design, training delivery, educational technology, and effective written and verbal communication. Ability to build relationships, provide personalized support, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a hybrid environment. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in Career and Technical Education, including program design, delivery, or evaluation. Four (4) years of experience in K-12 education. Four (4) years of experience using Learning Management Systems. Four (4) years of experience using Student Information Systems. Four (4) years of experience in web-based or online instructional design. Two (2) years of experience in consultation, coaching, or stakeholder advising. Experience conducting educational technology needs assessments to identify and implement improvements. Experience implementing software or Software as a Service solutions. Experience supporting or applying technology accessibility practices and tools.
