Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Product Developer, Curriculum will play a crucial role in the redesign and development of educational products tailored for our customers. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative curriculum materials that meet the needs of diverse learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying trends and gaps in the current offerings, ensuring that our products remain competitive and relevant. Analytical skills will be utilized to assess the effectiveness of existing products, ensuring that revised and new developments are grounded in data. Creativity will play a significant role in redesigning engaging instructional content that resonates with learners. Additionally, this role requires the ability to evaluate and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve product quality. Ultimately, the Associate Product Developer will contribute to the overall mission of enhancing educational experiences and outcomes for our customers.
OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE
Responsible for modifying, developing, coordinating, and carrying out changing investigative plans of partnership and legacy products to maintain profitable sales growth through product selection by performing the following duties.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
Build on existing products based on changes in components, science standards, market needs and demands, and customer feedback. Independently manage workflow, development, and collaboration with internal and external parties to advise on changes and maintenance of products on the market. Maintain high quality science educational content for various science discipline areas and grade levels K-8 based on needs and goals of curriculum group. Enhance curriculum product marketing efforts through ongoing communication, attending webinars, and testing product components that are changing. Support Curriculum Marketing and Sales groups by providing information to Marketing Managers and Sales Staff on changes to products. Interact with Operations to ensure that product specifications are clearly defined, and extent of changes are clearly communicated. Test and evaluate materials as needed to ensure quality of existing items. Maintain harmony and serve as a role model for appropriate management behavior and attitudes for peers. Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education :
Bachelor s degree in science education or science field with related formal/ informal education work experience required. Degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Geoscience, or related fields preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of elementary, middle school, and/or high school science teaching experience (or combination thereof); or equivalent combination of appropriate education and experience.
Specialized Training/Skills:
Ability to effectively plan, implement, and monitor self-directed and group projects. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Smartsheet or project management software experience is a plus.
