Role:
Do you love turning complex ideas into clear, engaging learning experiences? Join our Content Development team as an Instructional Designer I, where creativity meets strategy. In this role, you'll help shape the way users learn by creating impactful instructional content and training materials for Aspire, online help resources, and other learning platforms. You'll collaborate with subject matter experts to uncover learning needs, define objectives, and craft original content that empowers learners to succeed while making learning informative, intuitive, and even a little fun.
What You'll Do:
Develop instructional content by defining learning objectives, developing exercises, and writing effective assessments that facilitate learner retention
Manage the content development process for assigned primary projects and maintains appropriate project management documentation
Obtain, analyze, and incorporate constructive feedback from a variety of reviewers including industry experts, clients, and Yardi management
Incorporate basic user engagement strategies within a course to maximize retention
Contributes to curriculum development for property management industry roles
Regularly review content produced by other team members and provide constructive feedback
Develop knowledge of department and industry best practices
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in teaching, instructional design, communication, marketing, or technical writing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated writing proficiency in a variety of genres, preferably instructional or narrative content
Ability to learn and develop instructional content in a variety of media
Ability to research, develop, and edit training content that adheres to basic instructional design standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks on time within a fast-paced environment
Project management and organization skills Ideal to
Have:
Prior experience in instructional design or project management
Understanding one or more of the following: the property management industry, accounting principles, Yardi products and services, organizational development
Experience developing or conducting technical, safety, leadership, or professional skills training, procedure-writing, formal teaching or mentorship, or coaching Real Estate runs on Yardi.
