Assessments are completed using the Supports Intensity Scale and focus on understanding the supports individuals need to live the life they desire. This role typically works 1-2 weeks per month and is well-suited for IDD professionals and Educators seeking flexible, mission-driven work.
Pay:
$18.00/hour during training and certification $27.50/hour once fully certified
What You'll Do:
Conduct in-person SIS-A and/or ICAP assessments in accordance with Rushmore standards Facilitate respectful, person-centered assessment discussions with individuals, families, and providers Coordinate scheduling and complete assessment documentation accurately and on time Travel within North Dakota (some overnight stays required) Participate in required training, certification, and quality assurance activities Facilitate respectful, person-centered assessment discussions with individuals, families, and providers Coordinate scheduling and complete assessment documentation accurately and on time Travel within North Dakota (some overnight stays required) Participate in required training, certification, and quality assurance activities
Who We're Looking For:
Required Bachelor's degree in human services, education, special education, or another related field 1+ year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Ability to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds Strong communication and facilitation skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional judgment Valid driver's license and ability to travel Preferred Background in case management, human or social services, special education, school-based transition services, or related educational roles Familiarity with person-centered planning and IDD service systems Experience conducting assessments and/or facilitating meetings Benefits Flexible, self-selected schedule No weekends Paid training and certification Mileage reimbursement Professional development assistance
