Today Job Description The Keene School District is seeking a highly organized and strategic Grant Specialist to lead our grant development and management efforts. This pivotal role ensures our district secures and maximizes resources to improve student outcomes while maintaining rigorous compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Key Responsibilities
Grant Management:
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of Title grants and other assigned funded programs.
Strategic Growth:
Research new funding opportunities and draft competitive grant applications aligned with district priorities.
Compliance & Finance:
Monitor expenditures, track program effectiveness, and manage all required state and federal reporting.
McKinney-Vento Coordination:
Lead the district's efforts for students experiencing homelessness, including eligibility, service coordination, and state reporting.
Program Liaison:
Serve as the primary District point of contact for the Keene Elementary School afterschool program. Requirements Proven experience in grant writing, administration, or federal program monitoring. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments. 1-3 years of experience is preferred. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
