The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and for residency and fellowship training programs.This role ensures compliance with ACGME and other accrediting bodies, supports program leadership.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree Minimum of 2 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in medical education, healthcare, or academic settings Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to handle confidential information with discretionPreferred:
Associate degree with relevant experience considered Experience with ACGME-accredited programs strongly preferredEssential Job Functions:
Program Administration Maintain accurate resident/fellow records, files, and databases Assist with resident onboarding, orientation, credentialing, Assist with resident and fellow rotators onboarding Assist with duty hour monitoring Apply for NJ training permits for all residents Prepare resident contracts Assist with the Coordination of residents activities, i.e. parties, appreciation day, research day, graduation Support Administrative Director with other assigned tasks Financial & Administrative Support Track educational funds, conference attendance, and reimbursement requests Back up for residents payrollOther Duties:
