Job Description

REQUIRED
NJ Certified for the appropriate ESL Strong content knowledge in respective ESL Understanding of differentiated instructional strategies to meet the needs of the learners Knowledge of formative and summative assessment strategies Familiarity with content-based technology applications Organizational and time management skills Ability to align standards, assessments, learning objectives, and instructional practices
PREFERRED
Review curriculum documents for alignments to NJSLS and district expectations Refine pacing, assessments, and instructional supports within existing curriculum documents Ability to collaborate with supervisor and curriculum team members throughout the revision process Experience writing or revising ESL curriculum preferred
