Position Summary Responsible for planning and delivering support activities aimed at ensuring both children and adults are provided the opportunity to participate in the Tribal Scholarship Program. In addition, the position monitors all Pueblo/School relationships. This will be accomplished with continuous communication with schools, collection of data, reports on students' performance, and working with the families of the community. Our philosophy is built on the principles of integrity, fairness, collaboration, communication, and recognition for performance excellence. Meeting all performance standards leads to attracting and retaining a qualified workforce, provides opportunities for qualified team members, and contributes towards the ongoing success of the Pueblo of Sandia today and in the future. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assists in the development of a comprehensive educational plan to address student, parent, and guardian concerns. 2. Compiles and makes summary attendance and grade reports. 3. Assists in the development of a departmental budget. 4. Attends meetings with local educational agencies, as needed. 5. Identifies students enrolled in area schools. 6. Contacts school personnel regarding student performance and develops plans to assist with growth and development of students. 7. Through testing results and conversations with schools, develops relearning, retaining, and enrichment programs, coordinates tutoring activities with students, schools, and Tribal programs. 8. Oversees all aspects of the Tribal scholarship program. 9. Assists students with general preparation for continuing education, i.e., college, trade, or vocational schools, along with financial aid requests, and preparation of entrance documents. 10. Plans and conducts educationally oriented field trip opportunities, including inter-department functions. 12. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia. Additional Responsibilities 1. Work is normally performed on weekdays; infrequent weekend and evening work may be required. 2. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or when requested. Key Performance Indicators This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) identified as a measurement of success. KPI's will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI's as part of the performance review process. Compensation:
$37.54 to $46.93 per hour Position Summary Under direct supervision of the Facilities Supervisor the Electrician performs new electrical installation and electrical repairs in the Casino and related facilities in accordance with management directives. Electrical duties also encompass minor repair work at the BIA offices and any other Pueblo location when required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Under general supervision, dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes or armatures. 2. Complies with Pueblo, Resort & Casino, and Facilities Department standard operating procedures. 3. Utilizes a high lift for maintenance tasks when required. 4. Responsible for overall operation and preventative maintenance of Casino emergency power generator. 5. Reports facilities repair requirements to supervisor and plans repairs. 6. Estimates materials purchases for electrical repairs. 7. Installs and monitors the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement. 8. Installs grounding leads. 9. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of electrical equipment, manual and power tools; promotes workplace safety with tools and equipment. 10. Moves or lifts furniture and boxes. 11. Interprets blueprints; works from sketches or verbal instructions. 12. Lays out, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring and new service to include panels, breakers and circuits. 13. Mounts motor, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications. 14. Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing equipment. 15. Troubleshoots and repairs electric controls, motor control panels and programmable logic controls. 16. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 17. Services and maintains medium voltage (12KVA) transformers and switches. 18. Assist Supervisor's in Maintaining Inventory Control of equipment, tools, parts, and Supplies. 19. Responsible to Enter all work activity into Computerized Asset Management Program. 20. Participates in Facilities Safety program and is responsible to complete safety training and promote a safe work environment for the team members and guests. 21. Works in a composite crew and is required to assist Hard Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Kitchen Repair technicians and/or other trades in accomplishing their duties on a routine basis. 22.
