401(k) Competitive salary Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance The Curriculum Specialist is responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of the school's curriculum, supporting classroom teachers in instructional practices, conducting ongoing observations, and ensuring compliance with curriculum standards. This role serves as a key resource for staff development and classroom quality, helping to ensure a consistent, high-quality educational experience for all children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Curriculum Implementation & Oversight
  • Ensure consistent implementation of the LEAP curriculum and COR Advantage assessment tools across all classrooms.
  • Maintain clarity and structure around classroom daily and weekly schedules.
  • Train teachers on the use of LEAP Interactive and LEAP Workbooks.
  • Support teachers with curriculum planning and lesson execution. Classroom Quality & Support
  • Conduct classroom observations monthly ( 1 per classroom), with a mix of in-person and monitor-based reviews.
  • Observe, assess, and provide feedback on instructional quality, classroom management, and curriculum alignment.
  • Support teachers in classroom setup, materials management, and organization of curriculum displays.
  • Provide coaching and modeling for classroom behaviors and teaching strategies. Environment & Display Management
  • Monitor and ensure classrooms are visually aligned with curriculum goals:
  • - Monthly themes visibly displayed.
  • - Documentation of learning, student work, photos, sentence strips, and developmental indicators posted as required.
  • Oversee hallway board updates and ensure they reflect current curriculum themes. Staff Training & Communication
  • Facilitate training for new hires and ongoing support for all staff regarding curriculum, assessments, and schedules.
  • Send regular reminders and updates about curriculum expectations, deadlines, and upcoming initiatives. Assessment Monitoring
  • Review and track COR Advantage assessment data, including Period 1 and Period 2 completion and trends.
  • Support teachers in accurately inputting and using assessment data to inform instruction. Supplies & Resource Management
  • Distribute monthly curriculum supply lists; cross-check with on-site inventory.
  • Order instructional materials and classroom resources from approved vendors.
GENERAL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support daily center operations, including running the floor and managing classroom transitions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and serve as a point of contact for family inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct school tours for prospective families and communicate program highlights.
  • Provide classroom coverage and support by filling in for teachers or assisting during transitions.
  • Coordinate and ensure coverage for classroom breaks and daily schedules.
  • Communicate with families regarding child development, behavior, and center updates.
  • Assist with opening and closing the school to ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain licensing compliance by supporting accurate documentation, ratio monitoring, and center walkthroughs.
