04 We are seeking a dynamic Psycho-Education Coordinator to join our Mental Health department. This multifaceted role combines programmatic leadership with clinical insight, focusing on the development and delivery of educational programming tailored to meet the unique needs of our adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities Program Development:
Assess, evaluate, and implement educational care plans designed to support patient recovery and mental wellness.
Clinical Collaboration:
Actively participate in multidisciplinary morning team meetings to align educational goals with overall clinical treatment plans.
Patient Engagement:
Lead educational sessions and therapeutic programming for patients aged 18 to 70+.
Compliance & Safety:
Maintain high standards of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and patient confidentiality.
Environment Management:
Support hospital procedures regarding patient safety and security while ensuring a clean, therapeutic environment.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Human Services, or Education (or an equivalent combination of education and experience in program supervision).
Certifications:
  • Current BLS certification required.
Crisis Intervention training (must be completed during the orientation period).
Experience:
Proven ability to work effectively with mentally ill populations.
Age-Specific Competence:
Demonstrated ability to provide services to Adults (18+) and Geriatric patients (70+).
Skills & Attributes Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of personalities and clinical needs.
Detail-Oriented:
High level of accuracy in clinical documentation and patient monitoring.
Technical Proficiency:
Basic computer knowledge for daily reporting and documentation.

A commitment to patient advocacy, safety, and ethical care standards. The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
