Requirements:
Must have NYS Certification as a K-6 or 1-6 Childhood Teacher We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: Previous successful teaching experience, preferably in elementary andor special education settings Strong ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with staff at all levels Demonstrated skill in designing and delivering targeted, explicit instruction to meet diverse learner needs, including students with IEPs Exemplify the WCSD Essential Skills and Core Beliefs Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based instructional practices, high-quality instructional materials, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) Strong ability to analyze student data to inform instruction and interventions
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with teachers to implement evidence-based instructional strategies to support all learners, with a focus on students with disabilities Coaches staff in the use of high-quality instructional materials and targeted, small-group tutoring strategies to close achievement gaps Implements and manages the school's small group tutoring program, including scheduling, staffing coordination, family communication, monitoring student progress, and adjusting supports as needed Supports the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports � Integrated (MTSS-I) through modeling, observation, and feedback Schedules and conducts classroom observations, providing actionable and supportive feedback to improve instruction Builds strong relationships with teachers by meeting regularly outside of instructional time to plan and reflect on practice Facilitates collaboration among classroom teachers, case managers, and tutors to ensure consistent, coordinated support for students Visits other schools in the district to identify and share best practices Meets weekly with building administration to review progress toward instructional goals and refine coaching priorities Serves as a resource for research-based practices, ongoing job-embedded professional development, and professional learning communities
Salary:
As per current Webster Teachers Contract as well as education and experience.
