Jackson Leadership Academy Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time $50,000 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications School experience Quantitative analysis for student progress evaluation Teaching Certification Classroom experience Classroom Teaching Full Job Description Position Overview The Instructional Coach is responsible for improving instructional quality and scholar outcomes through coaching, data-driven decision-making, and professional development. This role ensures that teachers are effectively implementing curriculum, delivering rigorous instruction, and utilizing assessment data to drive scholar achievement. The Instructional Coach plays a critical role in supporting WK Jackson Leadership Academy's academic goals, particularly in a CSI (Comprehensive Support and Improvement) environment, by strengthening Tier 1 instruction and intervention systems. Core Responsibilities Instructional Leadership & Coaching Conduct teacher observations and provide actionable feedback Monitor and provide feedback on lesson plans and instructional delivery Lead and facilitate content planning meetings and data meetings Support teachers in internalizing curriculum and delivering high-quality lessons Coordinate and support state testing (OSTP) preparation and execution Support development and execution of intervention systems and progress monitoring Ensure alignment of instruction to standards and academic priorities Professional Development Design and facilitate summer professional development Plan and execute ongoing weekly professional development Monitor implementation of PD into classroom practice Data & Scholar Achievement Lead analysis of MAP and other assessment data Monitor scholar progress toward end-of-year growth goals Assist in development and monitoring of MTSS systems Human Resources & Staff Development Participate in recruitment efforts, including attending job fairs Support staff growth through coaching, modeling, and feedback Family Engagement & Communication Support and participate in monthly family engagement activities Assist in development of parent engagement calendar Contribute to weekly school communications/newsletters Support positive relationships between school and families School Culture & Scholar Support Support implementation of strong scholar culture systems Assist with scholar support plans and interventions Participate in and support school-wide events and activities Promote a culture of high expectations and academic excellence Qualifications Required Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience Demonstrated success in improving student achievement Strong knowledge of: Curriculum implementation Data-driven instruction Small group and intervention strategies Preferred Experience in instructional coaching or teacher leadership role Experience in a CSI or turnaround school environment Familiarity with MAP, OSTP, and structured literacy/math programs
