Job Description

About the Role A private clinical psychology practice in Westwood specializing in psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments is seeking an assessment specialist to support both assessment and administrative responsibilities. intellectual, psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments, clinical documentation, client interaction, and practice operations. It is particularly well-suited for individuals planning to pursue graduate training and/or career in clinical psychology, neuroscience, marriage and family therapy, or related fields. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Requirements to Apply Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field with GPA of 3.5 (transcript required). Minimum 1 year of post-college related work experience . Minimum 1 year of experience in the mental health field (work, research, or volunteer). At least 1-year commitment to the position (2 years preferred) Key Responsibilities Score IQ, psycho-educational, and neuropsychological tests (training provided). Prepare written documentation based on assessments. Communicate with clients psychiatrists, via phone and email. Prepare needed assessment materials and greet/check in clients for appointments. Perform administrative tasks and manage billing. Schedule and training 24 hours per week, including on-site Mondays, Tuesdays, including from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (required). Friday hours (9am - 12pm) will initially be on-site, with the potential for remote work after demonstrating reliability and strong performance. Additional Thursday remote work may be available as needed. There is an initial 20-hour training (across 3 days), which will be paid at minimum wage. Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have) Experience with assessments (i.e., test scoring and/or report preparation). Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems & managing billing Demonstrate professional writing ability (reports, summaries, or correspondence).
