McColm specializes in supporting U.S. federal customers with human services, foreign affairs, and national security focused portfolios by managing bespoke professional training programs, delivering effective capacity building solutions, and providing highly specialized technical assistance and analysis expertise to decision makers. McColm issues this Call for CVs for qualified Instructional Systems Designer candidates under an anticipated contract with the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center. The position description below details the anticipated duties and qualifications of the position, contingent upon contract award. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the instructional design for anti-human trafficking training programs or adjacent human services training programs. The responsibilities of the Instructional Systems Designer are as follows: Identify performance gaps or learning needs and develop instructional solutions to address them. Design engaging, learner-centered instructional strategies for face-to-face, online, and blended learning. Use empirical data to inform instructional design decisions and improve instruction. Document instructional design plans and manage related projects. Design learning assessments and collaborate across functional teams to ensure effective delivery. Utilize online learning platforms and tools to create and deliver content. Facilitate training sessions and workshops. The qualified candidate for the Instructional Systems Designer role must possess the following: MUST have Certification in Instructional Design from an accredited institution. Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Experience in instructional design, including identifying learning needs and designing instructional strategies. 5+ years' experience as a facilitator. Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools. Strong project management skills and experience collaborating across teams. Prior customer experience and excellent communication skills.
