THE OPPORTUNITY
Seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator part-time, to ensure the reliable execution of learning programs that strengthen employee capability, drive performance, and support business results across TTC. By delivering consistent, high-quality development experiences, this role enables our people to perform at their best and contribute to TTC's purpose of enriching lives by connecting people and places.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration Manage day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System Upload, organize, and maintain course content, learning paths, and resources Monitor enrollments, completions, and compliance requirements Generate standard and ad hoc reports to support data tracking and decision-making Troubleshoot learner access issues and system inquiries Program Coordination & Delivery Coordinate end-to-end logistics for virtual and in-person learning programs Manage session scheduling, registrations, participant communications, and materials Prepare facilitator guides, participant materials, and session assets Support and help run live virtual sessions Provide on-site support for in-person sessions as needed Learning Communications Draft and distribute program announcements, calendar invitations, reminders, and follow-up communications Ensure consistent, clear messaging aligned with L&D standards and timelines Instructional Design & Content Development Support Assist in the development and updating of training materials, job aids, presentations, and eLearning modules Support content revisions based on feedback and evaluation results Facilitation Support (as applicable) Co-facilitate selected training sessions or deliver designated modules Lead smaller learning sessions, orientations, or knowledge-sharing workshops Support interactive elements during training to enhance learner engagement Continuous Improvement Collect and summarize participant feedback and evaluation data Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve learner experience Contribute to scaling and improving the operational effectiveness of the L&D function
Requirements:
WHAT YOU'LL BRING 1
  • 2 years' experience with coordinating learning logistics, learner administration, and program communications.
LMS administration and database maintenance experience. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams. Communication and influence skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas, build rapport, and influence others to achieve effective outcomes Strong collaboration and ability to work effectively across teams, building strong relationships to deliver shared goals Customer focus with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that create a high-quality, consistent experience. Adaptability and the ability to respond effectively to change, adjusting priorities and approach to meet evolving needs. Quality and attention to detail by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high standards in all work, minimizing risk and rework.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Canva preferred. Experience with Litmos ideal. Training facilitation (live and online) ideal.
ROLE SUCCESS CRITERIA L&D
managers and stakeholders are kept informed through timely, proactive communication, with actions clearly tracked. Training sessions are delivered in line with learning principles, well-organized, and supported by smooth logistics (materials, tech, facilitators prepared in advance). The learner experience is consistently high quality, with strong feedback and continuous improvement based on evaluation. Learning data, reporting, and ROI measures are accurate, accessible, and shared on time, enabling insight and informed decision-making. L&D systems, folders, and processes are well-maintained and continuously improved, driving efficiency, consistency, and ease of access. LMS content, learning paths, and records are accurate, up to date, and fully functional, supporting a seamless learning experience. Enrolments, reporting, and learner support are managed efficiently, with issues resolved quickly and data maintained with high accuracy.
