Role Description Houston Behavioral Health, PLLC is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.

D.) to join our growing practice as an independent contractor. This position is ideal for a psychologist who enjoys assessment work, values flexibility, and is looking to supplement an existing private practice, academic appointment, hospital position, or full-time role. This is an assessment-focused position with opportunities to conduct disability evaluations, veteran evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and other psychological evaluations across diverse populations. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The psychologist may conduct: Social Security Disability evaluations Veteran disability evaluations Psychological diagnostic evaluations Psychoeducational assessments L-3 and Armed Security evaluations Clinical interviews Mental Status Examinations (MSEs) Cognitive and intellectual testing Achievement testing Personality assessment and interpretation Diagnostic formulation and report writing
ASSESSMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Experience with the following measures is highly desirable: MMPI-3 PAI 
WAIS-IV / WAIS-V
WISC-V WIAT Other personality, cognitive, and achievement measures Qualifications Ph.D. or Psy.

D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Current Texas Psychologist License in good standing Experience conducting psychological assessments Experience administering and interpreting psychological testing Strong report writing skills Preferred (but not required): Experience conducting disability evaluations Experience conducting veteran evaluations Experience with psychoeducational assessments Familiarity with MMPI-3, PAI, WAIS, WISC, and achievement testing The ideal candidate: Enjoys assessment focused practice Has strong interviewing and diagnostic skills Produces clear and clinically sound reports Is comfortable working independently Values flexibility and autonomy Demonstrates professionalism and strong communication skills Has experience with psychological testing and interpretation Is organized, reliable, and detail oriented
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099) Flexible scheduling Daytime, evening, and weekend opportunities available Hybrid opportunities available depending on service type Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, assessment expertise, and availability. This position provides an excellent supplemental income opportunity for psychologists seeking meaningful assessment work without the demands of operating or expanding a practice.
