Job Summary The Scholars Portfolio Coordinator performs a variety of tasks to assure appropriate services for the Promising Scholars summer program in Metro Nashville Public Schools. The coach works with Promising Scholars staff, site leads, and relevant support organizations to monitor the summer program at schools and improve academic growth across all participating schools. The coordinator will also work to develop supplemental curriculum for the Accelerating Scholars program, working in conjunction with support organizations and departments to accomplish this goal. The coordinator is responsible for working with others to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Promising Scholars program, while acting as a communication hub between various school personnel, support hub departments, the community, and other stakeholders. What you will do Coordinate the selection, onboarding, and development of school site administrators and instructional support staff to ensure readiness and consistency across summer learning and tutoring programs. Provide coaching, technical assistance, and problem-solving support to summer site administrators before and during the program to strengthen instructional leadership and program implementation. Monitor instructional quality across Scholars Portfolio programs through school visits and observations, and share feedback to support effective implementation. Support curriculum implementation and instructional planning across Promising Scholars, Enriching Scholars, and Accelerating Scholars in alignment with district expectations. Use program data to identify trends and inform continuous improvement efforts related to instructional quality and program effectiveness. Support the implementation and maintenance of academic systems and routines that enable consistent, high-quality program delivery. Collaborate with internal teams and school leaders to ensure alignment with academic policies, procedures, and program expectations. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required Master's Degree Preferred Experience Qualifications 5-7 years Experience in K-12 education, including at least one year experience in instructional leadership, teacher coaching, or school-based administration. Required 1-3 years Experience coordinating or leading others, including lateral leadership or supervision. Preferred Skills and Abilities Strong project management and organizational skills. Strong instructional coaching skills to support educators toward improved practice and outcomes. Competency in adult learning theory and the development and leadership of professional learning opportunities for instructional staff and parents. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret and use data to guide decisions and support continuous improvement.
