Job Description
Job Summary Classical Ballet Instructor 9 to 11 classes per week Afternoons and Weekends Rate commensurate with experience Huntsville Ballet School (a Non-profit educational institution) is looking for an experienced classical ballet teacher to join our team. Must have a strong background in classical ballet technique(s), a passion for teaching and a dedication to inspiring and nurturing the next generation of dancers. BFA in Dance is welcomed but not required for those with professional experience. The information below is for a more detailed job description. Experience:
Applicant should have one or both of the following- A minimum of 2 years of professional performance experience with a reputable ballet company/school.
- Proven teaching experience with a reputable ballet school or in an arts education setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ballet history, techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - necessary for effectively teaching and interacting with students.
- The ability to provide constructive feedback and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
