Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance. Preferably in Hip-Hop/Acro, adult jazz, tap, ballet, or mommy and me's. In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, lead dynamic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Your enthusiasm for dance and dedication to teaching will help students develop their technique, confidence, and love for movement. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise while making a meaningful impact on our vibrant community. Duties Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including Hip-Hop/acro (all ages) and Jazz,Tap, ballet (adult ages), and Mommy and me classes Lead lively and motivating dance classes that promote proper technique, coordination, and artistic expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate warm-up exercises, choreography, and cool-down routines Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and boost their confidence Support students' overall development Qualifications Proven experience in teaching dance styles such as Hip-Hop, Acro, Jazz, Tap, Ballet Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various age groups Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners of all ages Experience working with children Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles (don't have to have degree) Passion for dancing and a commitment to fostering creativity through movement and performance Join us as a Dance Instructor and bring your passion for dance into a role that celebrates artistic expression while nurturing the growth of our community's dancers!
