Duties Design and deliver comprehensive ballroom dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring clear progression and skill mastery Lead engaging group classes and one-on-one tutoring sessions that motivate students to improve their technique and confidence Manage classroom dynamics effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere Incorporate creative elements such as photography, theater, or costume design to enrich the dance experience and foster artistic expression Plan themed performances or showcases to celebrate student achievements and encourage community participation Maintain detailed lesson plans aligned with educational standards in dance instruction and childhood development Support students' overall growth by integrating elements of early childhood education, special education needs, or preschool experience when appropriate Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballroom dancing with a strong background in various styles such as waltz, tango, foxtrot, or swing Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques for diverse age groups Familiarity with working with children, early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education settings Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with different learning styles and behavioral needs Skills in photography, sewing (for costume creation), or theatrical arts to enhance lesson delivery when applicable Excellent communication skills to engage students effectively and foster a supportive learning environment Passion for dance education combined with a commitment to nurturing students' personal growth through movement Join us as a Ballroom Dance Instructor and be part of an energetic team dedicated to inspiring movement, creativity, and confidence!
