Creators About M.A.D. Creators M.A.D. (Music. Art. Dance.) Creators runs camps, community classes, after-school programs, and workshops for all ages.
Our philosophy:
creative joy over technical drilling. Students write songs, choreograph dances, and make visual art—guided by professional artists who prioritize exploration over perfection. The Role You'll lead dance sessions where students create their own choreography rather than replicate yours. You teach movement fundamentals, but the goal is expression and confidence—not recital-ready technique. Programs range from parent-and-me classes for infants to camps for kids ages 4-10 to afterschool classes for elementary-ages.
Location:
Malibu. Responsibilities Design and lead age-appropriate dance sessions that emphasize creativity and collaboration Guide students through choreography they create themselves Manage groups with warmth and clear boundaries Adapt activities for mixed skill levels, ages, and learning styles Collaborate with music and visual art instructors to connect disciplines Communicate with parents and program coordinators as needed Qualifications Experience teaching dance to children (infant through elementary preferred) Comfortable prioritizing creative exploration over technical correction Strong classroom management skills Knowledge of child development principles Reliable, punctual, and able to bring energy to a full day of programming Nice to Have Experience in multiple dance styles Background in music or visual arts Experience with children who have diverse learning needs Compensation Paid position. Rate based on experience.
