The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of ballet teaching experience and a strong foundation in classical ballet technique. This instructor should be comfortable teaching dancers of all ages and levels , from preschool and recreational students to advanced and pre-professional dancers. We are looking for an educator who can inspire technical excellence, artistry, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for dance. Duties Teach ballet classes for students of all ages and experience levels, including beginner, intermediate, advanced, and pre-professional dancers. Develop and implement comprehensive ballet curriculum that emphasizes proper technique, alignment, strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry. Create age-appropriate lesson plans that support the technical and artistic development of each student. Choreograph ballet routines and variations for recitals, showcases, competitions, and special performances. Assess student progress and provide individualized feedback to support growth and achievement. Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and a strong work ethic. Prepare students for performances, examinations, auditions, and advancement opportunities when applicable. Collaborate with studio staff and faculty to support studio events, productions, and educational initiatives. Communicate professionally with students, parents, and fellow faculty members regarding expectations and student progress. Qualifications 10-20 years of ballet teaching experience in a studio, academy, conservatory, or professional setting. Extensive training and knowledge of classical ballet technique and pedagogy. Experience teaching dancers across all age groups and skill levels. Strong understanding of anatomy, injury prevention, proper alignment, and dancer development. Proven experience choreographing and preparing students for stage performances. Exceptional classroom management and organizational skills. Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high instructional standards. Experience with pointe instruction and pre-pointe training is highly preferred.
