In this dynamic role, you will inspire students of all ages to discover their dance potential through engaging lessons, creative choreography, and supportive classroom environments. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will foster confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of dance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your artistry while helping students develop their skills in a fun, energetic setting. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, including ballet, theater dance, and contemporary styles Lead engaging dance classes that promote proper technique, creativity, and physical fitness Manage classroom behavior to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Develop personalized lesson plans that support individual progress and address diverse learning needs Incorporate elements of choreography, performance preparation, and stage presence into lessons Foster a safe space for students to explore movement while encouraging self-expression and confidence Maintain accurate attendance records and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills Collaborate with parents or guardians for younger students on progress updates and developmental milestones Skills Strong background in various dance styles such as ballet, theater dance, or contemporary dance with experience in choreography and performance Expertise in curriculum development tailored to different age groups including early childhood education and preschool experience Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of all levels Classroom management skills to maintain discipline while fostering creativity and fun Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in educational or recreational settings Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for diverse student needs Familiarity with theater arts, stage performance techniques, and photography for promotional purposes Ability to plan lessons effectively while incorporating elements of childhood development and special education when needed Skills in sewing or costume design are a plus for costume-related projects or performances Join us as a Dance Instructor where your passion for movement meets the joy of teaching!
