Dance Instructor

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant dance community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles- ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, folklorico- and experience working with children of all ages.. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys sharing their love of dance while fostering a positive and encouraging environment for students to learn and grow. Responsibilities Follow and implement DanceFit curriculum tailored to the skill levels of students. Instruct students in various dance styles, including beginner Folklorico, ballet, jazz and tap, ensuring proper techniques and movements are taught. Create a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression among students. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Participate in recitals, performances, and other events to showcase student achievements. Maintain a safe and clean dance environment conducive to learning. Qualifications Proven experience in dance instruction, particularly in beginner folklorico, ballet, jazz, and tap, with a passion for teaching children. Big Plus if you have experience in Chinese Classical Dance. Reliability Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents. A positive attitude and the ability to inspire confidence in young dancers. Join us in nurturing the next generation of dancers!
